Engineers from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) visited the Alabama Career Center in Mobile recently for a job fair sponsored by the Alabama Department of Workforce.

The opening of the recently-reconstructed segment of the northbound I-59 roadway included reopening the northbound ramps of Exit 239 at County Road 140.

ALDOT excavated a sinkhole site on US-231 in St Clair County on Monday, November 3, 2025.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has reopened US-231 following extensive work to reinforce its foundation in St. Clair County following ongoing sinkhole impacts.
