The ramps that are colored red are currently closed but all travel lanes on I-85 north and south are open.

I-85 north and south at exit 6 has been reopened.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Interstate 85 at exit 6 (Eastern Boulevard) is closed in both directions because of a downed power line.
The Alabama Department of Transportation is assisting with traffic control on I-85 and on Eastern Boulevard where power is out.
Motorists should plan for significant delays and seek alternate routes.
