All state routes in Marion, Winston, Lamar, Pickens, Fayette and Walker counties have been treated. Crews in Greene County have treated all bridges and hot spots. They are currently finishing the interstate ramps and interstate overpasses.
Crews in Tuscaloosa County have treated all bridges on primary routes and known problem spots.
Crews in Hale and Perry counties have treated all bridges on primary routes and known problem spots. They have also removed several fallen trees.
Crews in Sumter County have treated known problem spots and intersections that were holding water.
Crews in Bibb and Chilton counties have worked on drainage issues along the shoulders.
Jan. 25 at 1:45 p.m.:
ALDOT crews are currently pretreating priority roads and bridges as conditions permit in west central Alabama. Crews responded to fallen trees in Winston County, and will continue to respond to problem spots throughout the event.
Jan. 24 at 7:30 a.m.:
Primary routes, bridges and known hot spots have been treated in Marion, Winston, northern Lamar and northern Fayette counties.
